X-Men director wants to work with Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan has a world of fans swooning over him and the latest to join the fan frenzy is ace Hollywood filmmaker, Brett Ratner. Ratner of the X-Men & Rush Hour fame took to his Twitter handle last year to express his desire to work with King Khan. The man replied to one of Srk’s Tweets with “…I would love to work with you one day!! Big fan!!! (sic).” To which, the actor had replied, “…would be my honour. I am an avid follower of ur work & a huge fan of ur films. Would love to come & see u work on sets one day (sic).”

And now taking the fan love further, Ratner recently enlisted Khan as one of his favourite actors on twitter. What followed was an exchange of flattering tweets.
The man tweeted on June 8th, “My favorite actors ever are John Cazale, Sterling Hayden, Peter Sellers, Timothy Carey, John Cassavetes, and of course Shah Rukh Khan, Robert Deniro and Al Pacino! (sic)".
SRK returned the compliment on June 9, by re-tweeting the trailer of Ratner’s upcoming film, Hercules, saying, “wow…a man with a cause… (sic).”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli holidaying in Barcelona?
Looks like Barcelona is happily playing dating ground to Bollywood’s alleged couples. First it was heard that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted out and about in the streets of Spanish capital while Ranveer was supposed to be on the cruise shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do with the entire cast. And now reports are rife that even Anushka Sharma has followed suit to ditch the cruise and spend some couple time in Barcelona with alleged lover Virat Kohli.

According to a leading entertainment website, alleged lovers Anushka and Virat were spotted by a Bollywood fan at Hotel Mandarin in Barcelona about four days back. This comes after Anushka was spotted leaving for Barcelona from Mumbai Airport on May 29. Also, the actress was missing from the cruise pictures that Priyanka Chopra who is also a part of the project posted on her instagram account from the sets of Dil Dhadakne Do.

Meet Badshah Akbar aka Vishal Jethwa from Maharana Pratap
Two actors were already replaced before him entering the show. He was too unsure whetsher he will be able to justify the character; but finally audiences have accepted him as Akbar. Here, we are talking about 20 year old young kid, Vishal N Jethwa, who is recently playing a role of Badshah Akbar in Maharana Pratap.
Talking about his journey, Vishal says, “Without my mother’s support, I am nowhere. She has brought me up alone. My father expired in the year 2008 due to a sudden heart attack and we had to struggle a lot. There were times, when no one used to look at my family, but after my success, everybody comes to us. I have not changed at all, but people have changed after my popularity.”

Vishal is not at all fond of history subject; still he has managed to make a mark in historical serial. “I do not like history subject at all. I am more close to acting and dancing. Playing a character of Akbar was very tough for me. The language, the attitude is totally different. My production team has worked very hard in shaping me from Vishal to Akbar. Starting days, I had to struggle, but now am very comfortable with the ongoing character”, says 20 year old young kid.
Talking about the chemistry between him and Faizal Khan, Vishal quips, “It is totally the opposite of what audiences see onscreen. We are best friends; in fact we play lot of pranks and do lot of masti on set.”

Like all other television artist, Vishal too has a dream of making his place in Bollywood. Vishal says,” Yes, it is a dream for me too, to see myself in Bollywood. I want to play a young Hritik Roshan in a movie, because in some manner I look like him, specially my eyes. Let’s see what’s store in my destiny.”
Working in a daily soap is not easy. “We have to work very hard to entertain our viewers. There has been time, where we work day and night so that our show doesn’t get suffer. But all is well that ends that, after all our show is getting a good ratting, so we will continue working hard on our show”, concludes Vishal Jetwa.

He has ruled the big screen for decades and now making his debut on television screen with his fiction show, ‘Yudh’. The first promo of the show has been launched by the super star himself during IPL.
The show will be on aired very soon on Sony TV. Apart from Big B, Bollywood popular faces like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kay Kay Menon and Sarika will also be seen in a very pivotal role.

The Bollywood hot shot shooting in Barcelona for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do recently flew down to Mumbai to wrap up certain social commitments and to grace the announcement of a road in Andheri that will be named after her late father Dr. Ashok Chopra, on June 10, to mark his first death anniversary.
PC who is the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF attended their women empowerment program, ‘Deepshikha’ speaking at length on the disparity that exists in remuneration for male and female actors in Bollywood. The actress stated, "The male actors do get paid a lot more. There is a tremendous disparity in remuneration between male and female actors. The remuneration difference is insane as the disparity is big. I feel we have strong female performers, and the day female-oriented films do well at the box office it will lead to it ".

At the event, Priyanka talked strongly on how gender discrimination existed in her family too and how her parents supported her all through. "Even my family was conservative... from my father's side there was discrimination between girls and boys. I was told that my dad had to be with me if I wanted to get into films. My parents, who are doctors, did sacrifice and came to Mumbai to fulfil my dreams. I feel lucky that my parents have always supported me," she added

Hrithik Roshan holidays with sons Hrehaan, Hridhaan in Disneyland, sans Sussanne
Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and his two sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan enjoyed a day out at Disneyland.
The 40-year-old actor took to Twitter to share a photograph of the fun-filled day with his sons. The trio were dressed casually in jeans and T-shirts which they teamed with baseball caps.
"On the road less travelled you must sometimes stop and take a picture," Hrithik posted along with the photograph.
The Krrish 3 star and his wife Sussanne decided to separate and end their 17 year long relationship last December.

This will be their second appearance in this show. Last season, they had been there to promote their debut film, ‘Student Of The Year’.
This song launch would also mark the opening episode of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 and will be on air on June 07, 2014. Alia made her entry with the baarat. Also, Varun Dhawan enjoyed his best with contestant Palak. He could not resist himself on coming on stage after watching Palak’s performance on stage.
Last season, Siddharth Shukla was the contestant of the show and this season he made his guest appearance to promote his debut film.

So, what made her to take such tough decision? “Last year, Jhalak had made a great benchmark for the audience as well as for the contestants. We do not want to divert from that benchmark. TV’s popular comedy show, ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ team is ready to bring more laughter and lots of fun for its audience. The whole star cast and crew members will fly down to Hong Kong to shoot a special sequence on 7th June.
According to a source, “The makers are planning for a special sequence. This will be shot in Hong Kong. The schedule for the same will be for 4-5 days. If everything goes well, they will be back on 12th June. Hong Kong Disney Land is very popular, most probably they will shoot some portion there. It is a summer vacation for the Tapu Sena, so the makers have decided to take them to a foreign land. ’’
The makers are ready with GPL (Gokuldham Premium League) season 3 and after this cricket fever, Hong Kong special sequence will be on aired.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan attended the launch of their upcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’s trailer in Mumbai yesterday. The film has been produced by Karan Johar and like his most projects is being eagerly awaited to hit the screens. Alia and Varun both sported looks from the film as they spoke, had fun and even performed some impromptu gimmicks. While Alia who will be seen playing the role of a Kareena Kapoor fan from Ambala was clad in a Punjabi suit with a mirrored jacket and jutti, Varun made it to the launch wearing a white short kurta with embroidered parrots paired with a pair of distressed jeans. Varun’s character in the film is that of a typical Delhi boy who is good looking, smart but with no expectations from life.

What’s interesting is that all this while people have been comparing Alia Bhatt with Kareena Kapoor and the comparisons lead to only one conclusion that Alia is going to be future Kareena Kapoor. Popular comedy show, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi celebrated his 49th birthday on the set. Whole star cast along with the crew members were present during the celebration.
In real life, Dilip does not like to celebrate his birthday. “In our times, we used to never celebrate our birthday. We could not afford it. I use to just take the blessings of my parents. Also, my birthday comes during summer vacations, so celebrating in school was also not possible. Now-a-days, it has become too big, but I never celebrate in real life. Nothing special occasion on this day, I am shooting as usual.”
Disha Wakani aka Daya who plays the role of his wife also wishes Dilip a great success in future. “Every surprise gift is a great gift. At this moment, I just wish all the luck and success to him. He is a great mentor for us on our set. Nobody can act like him. I just hope he remains with us forever. May God bless him with whatever he desires for in his life, ’’ says Disha.

Karan Johar and super star Shah Rukh Khan have been known for their close bond for a long time. In an industry where fall outs between stars and filmmakers is a routine thing, this duo has stood by each other. Hrithik Roshan catches X Men with kids, Shahid Kapoor also spotted
After separating from wife Sussanne, Hrithik Roshan is proving out to be a concerned father after all. The man was last night spotted outside Lightbox in Mumbai after catching screening of X Men Days of Future Past with kids Hridhaan and Hrehaan. Clad in a casual tee teamed with a pair of denims, shoes and a cap, Hrithik looked his suave best. While Hridhaan, Hrithik’s younger son fell asleep on his shoulder as Hrithik carried him along, his older son Hrehaan looked cute holding father Hrithik’s hand. Together, father and sons made for quite an adorable sight. With Sussanne not anymore by Hrithik’s side, Hrithik can be seen spending a lot of time with sons lately; being a patient, loving father one did not know Hrithik was. The three were also accompanied by a maid. After the screening, Hrithik quickly got into his car with the younger one fast asleep and older one looking puzzled as papa Hrithik tended to them.
Other actors who also attended X Men’s screening included Shahid Kapoor, Sonali Bendre with husband Goldie Behl and son, and former model Gayatri Oberoi with her son. Till now, she has won the hearts of millions by her acting and dancing skills, but now for a good cause on ‘Mission Sapne’, she will be seen as a nimbu mirchi seller for a day. The money earned by selling them will go to help a person.
According to an on looker present there, “Drashti is a very creative person. When she saw a mother and her daughter on road selling nimbu mirchi, shade made up her mind to do the same for them. She went on road and managed to sell nimbu mirchi to everyone passing by. She also danced on the road with a fan of her. She is a true entertainer. She also said a dialogue from Madhubala for an old couple on the road. “RK, main tumse bohot pyaar karti hoon,” She did not stop there; the actress went on to make the old couple say the three words to one another. No work on Sundays for Jennifer Winget
Television actors throwing tantrums on sets have become too common now. Every now and then, you hear about a celeb who shows his starry tantrums and poor production house has to fulfill all their fancies.
Recently, there was a buzz that Jennifer Winget refused to do intimate scene with Gautam Rode in serial Saraswatichandra. And now, here adds another feather in her tantrum cap. According to a source, “Jennifer never shoots on Sundays, no matter how important the scene may be. She had made very clear that she will not shoot on Sundays, but being the lead of the show, there have been times, when we require her for some time, but she totally refuses it. Even for important sequence like, Kumud and Saras marriage, we have used the dupe. She is very uncooperative e on set and rests of the actors are very much aware of her tantrums.”
Now can you imagine the pain of the producer? To make the show hit, the makers put so much energy and money, but such uncooperative attitude from the artists brings so much pain for them. Isn’t it?

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan missed her red carpet walk yesterday and today due to being stranded at London Airport due to Air France strike, the actress might walk the red carpet on some other days. How many times it happens that actors wish to do something in personal life and land up getting it in their reel life? Tappu Sena - Tapu, Goli, Gogi, Sonu & Pinku - of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, wanted to go for some summer camp in real life but when Asit Modi learnt of this, he incorporated the same in the storyline of the serial.
Says Tappu aka Bhavya Gandhi, “We all kids were planning to join some summer camp to have fun but then we were told that its now part of the story line only. We did so much of masti because shoot is done at a real summer camp. Climbing trees, using ropes, understanding flora & faun. It has been a real nice experience on location for us.”

Aashiqui 2 singer Ankit Tiwari arrested for allegedly raping his girlfriend
Singer Ankit Tiwari, who shot to fame with his songs in Aashiqui 2, has been arrested by Mumbai police on the charge of raping his girlfriend. However, the singer has claimed that he wasn’t in touch with the girl since one year. The victim claimed that the two got married at a temple, and she has accused Ankit of molestation and rape.
The girl has also accused Ankit’s brother Ankur Tiwari of criminal intimidation, and he is also under Police’s custody. As per Ankit lawyer’s Neeraj Gupta, Police has booked Ankit Tiwari under Sections 376, 417 and 493, while his brother Ankur has been booked under 506 (Part 2) under the Indian Penal Code.
Ankit and Ankur will be produce before the Andheri magistrate court today.

Singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' has finally got its champion with Jasraj Joshi bagging the title. This time the show had some melodious singers on the platform to compete with each other. Shankar Mahadevan once said Jasraj Joshi is the most versatile singer of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'.

Top four contestants, who were pitted against him included Shehnaaz Akhtar from Punjab, Vishwajeet Borwankar from Mumbai, Jasraj Joshi from Pune and Mohammad Aman from Rajasthan.

Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav said the TV serial Balika Vadhu was glorifying child marriage and the I&B Ministry should act against it,Yadav raising serious objections to the show’s content and demanding that it be taken off air. I&B Minister Ambika Soni assured Yadav his complaint would be looked into, but the Opposition was not satisfied. MPs did not stop their slogan-shouting until Soni promised to investigate the complaints made against the serial.

Hussain worked with Mickey Hart of the rock band Grateful Dead, Nigerian percussionist Sikiru Adepoju and Puerto Rican jazz percussionist Giovanni Hidalgo for the album. Global Drum Project is the second collaboration between Hart and Hussain after their compilation Planet Drum, which was released in 1991 and went on to win the first ever Grammy Award in the World Music category.

But the other Indian Grammy hopefuls, slide guitarist Debashish Bhattacharya and classical vocalist Lakshmi Shankar, who were nominated in the Best Traditional World Music category, were disappointed as they lost out to Ladysmith Black Mambazo, a South African acappella singing group.The ceremony this year was high on drama as a tearful Jennifer Hudson remembered her slain family while accepting her first Grammy.
