Students to get bus-facility
for visiting RSC
On the
conclusion day of the Educational programmes held on the account of National
Science Day at the Regional Science Center the Chief Secretary, school education
Shri Sumit Bos disclosed that the Students of government schools would be
provided bus facility for visiting Regional Science Center. He was distributing
prizes to the students who participated in the programmes.
Chhatt. government to extend
age-limit for teachers
The
Chhattisgarh government has taken decision to extend the age-limit for the
recruitment of teachers upto 45 (at present 30). The Parliamentary Works
minister Shri Ajay Chandrakar told the mediapersons that the new decision would
be brought into effect from the next turn of recruitments.
Daswani inst. sets up its
branch at Bhopal
Here is a
good news for the students preparing for PMT & PET. The famous coaching
institute of Kota (Rajasthan) for the above mentioned courses named Daswani
Classes has set up its a new branch in Bhopal. The new center was inaugurated by
Shri Ramesh Agrawal, chairman, Danik Bhaskar Group. On the occasion, besides
Shri Ramesh Agrawal, the director of the institute Shri Vijay Daswani & shri

Doctors rushes to Vande
Matram Plan
By the time, 85 doctors have joined
the Vande Mataram Doctors' Plan started by the Central government. The
doctors would charging no money to examine the pregnant women &
distribute medicines among them on the 9th date of every month. Besides,
the doctors who joins the Plan would be facilitated with a doctor's kit.
Snake-exhibition held
There was organised a
snake-exhibition at the Regional Science Center in which the famous
snake-charmer of the city Mo. Salim educated the children of the different kinds
of the snakes.

water-pouches seized
The idea prevailing in a much
larger number of people that the drinking water-pouches are free from any kind
dirtiness & fit stuff to quench their thirst was inflicted with a heavy jerk
when the team of the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard) persons raided on
those who were indulged in selling water-pouches with forged ISI mark. It is
also mentionable that the Dainik Bhaskar had disclosed the sale of this kind of
water-pouches before the raid.
Vijay Yadav appointed new
sport director
The State Government has appointed
the 1987 batch IPS officer Shri Vijay Yadav as new director to the sport &
youth welfare directorate.
CAT conducted successfully
The common admission test (CAT) was
conducted successfully at the capital city in tight security. The centers for
the examinations was Nutan college, Campaign school & Carmal convent school.
About 2500 students sat in the examination. The test is held by Indian Institute
for Management through which students are chosen for the admission into the 50
management institutes of the country. The responsibility of the successful accomplishment
of the test was laden on the shoulders of the IIM, Indore.

MP CM Uma Bharti expressed her
thoughts about astrologers saying that astrology gave us a positive point of
view towards life. She was speaking at the eleven convocation programme &
astrology conference organized by Shri Ganesh Jyotish institute. She also
reiterated her will to make the state a golden state. She also said that efforts
are being made to shift the state from 'D' grade to 'A' grade.
Night bus service started
MP Road Transport Corporation has
started night bus service between Bhopal & Sagar. The bus will leave Bhopal
at 9 pm & reach Sagar at 3pm. On back it will take departure from Sagar at 9
am & arrive at Bhopal at noon around 3' clock. The per head bus fair is Rs.
80.
Dispensary named after Late
Kushabhau Thakrey
The Urban administration &
development minister Shri Babulal Gaur devoted a dispensary to the public
in Narela Shankri in the memory of Late Kushabhau Thakrey. The dispensary is
also named after the Late BJP leader. The programme was presided over by MLA Uma
Shankar Gupta.
SEE TV to inform about trains
schedule
The local private channel SEE TV
will now give the details of the time-schedule of trains. This new service
was inaugurated by the Western Middle Railway Gen manager Shri Deepak Kumar
Gupta.
Calculators allowed for HS
students
The Secondary Education Board has
given the higher secondary students permission for the use of calculator in the
examinations scheduled to be held from 3 March.
High-protein biscuits for
school-going children
The MP Science & Technology council
has got high-protein biscuits prepared for the mid-day meal of the school-going
children. Comprised of wheat-flour, soya-protein, sugar, edible-oil, milk,
glucose & salt the biscuits will feed the children with protein, vitamins, carbohydrate
& minerals in appropriate quantity.
Vandematram Yojna
started In an effort
to reduce maternal death rate & facilitate the pregnant women with pre &
after delivery medical facilities the Central government has started
'Vandematram Yojana' under which the pregnant women will be given medical
treatment without any fee. The Yojana is also receiving help from the
Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of
India.
Fall out over the
nomenclature of Madhav nagar hospital
The Madhav nagar hospital, which was erected for Simhastha on the cost
of Rs. 447 lakh has been surrounded by controversies before its being
offered to public scheduled on 11 Feb. While CM Uma Bharti is to name
the hospital after the BJP fatherly figure Late Shri Kusha Bhau Thakre,
at the time of congress party the hospital had been proposed to be named
after Late Dr. Shivmangal Singh Suman. Now, the state's avoiding
the name of this great literary figure has
made many wordsmiths raise their eye-brows. They have threatened to get
the objection registered during the public-offering programme of the hospital.
SEB
to end misprint menace
The
Secondary Education Board has now taken steps for ending possibilities
of misprinting in the marksheets of the students of High schools &
Higher secondary schools. To release the students from all the puzzling
conditions rising from the misprints in the marksheets, the SEB
will give the students amendment letter along with admission card. In
case misprints appear in the marksheets the students can fill up the amendment
letter with right information & submit it at their own schools respectively.
The amendment letters will then be referred to the board by the schools.
The board then amend the errors so that at the time of the preparation
of the marksheets right information could be recorded.
MP to
get British assistance
The British government has accepted Rs. 700 crore MP Rural Livelihood
Project for the development of the small farmers dwelling in the primitive
areas of MP. MP Chief Minister Ms Uma Bharti & British high-commissioner
Shri Michal Aurther clinched agreement in this connection. In the first
faze of this project six districts naming Dhar, Jhabua, Badwani, Mandla,
Dindori & Shehdole have been included. In the next four years the
rest districts will also be included in the project. Under the project
the poor & backward farmers will be imparted resources for their livelihood.
Uma patron to the MP Flying Club CM Uma Bharti has given her consent to become the Chief patron to the MP Flying Club, Indore. The state government in this regard has apprized the MP Flying Club president Shri Manohar Dev. MP Flying Club was established in 1951 in Indore. In1966, the second branch of the club was set up in Bhopal.

collector Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukl asked the Revenue inspectors &
Patwaris to learn computer. The collector stressed on the
computerization of the departmental informations. He also ordered the
officers & employees to be punctual. |
Advani Lays the foundation of AIIMS Deputy Prime Minister Shri Lalkrishna Adwani laid the foundation of Rajmata Vijayaraje Schindhia All India medical Science Institute (AIIMS). The Programme was performed at Pipaliya Pende Khan near Alkapuri. The hospital will cost Rs. 300 cr.
On the occasion, along with Adwani, there were present Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, CM Ms Uma Bharti, Governor Shri Ramprakash Gupta, Health Minister Shri Gaurishankar Shezwar, BJP State President Shri Kailash Joshi & Uraban Administration Minister Shri Babulal Gaur.
